Starting position as Political Accountant at Sierra Club

Today I start a position as "Political and PAC Accountant" at Sierra Club. I will be working at the direction of the Controller and the Office of General Counsel. Among my first tasks will be to examine the accounting around Sierra Club's PAC donations, which has apparently triggered some confusion internally and some campaign finance concerns.

I do not anticipate that I will be in this position for long -- perhaps through the election or until I help them get things sorted. Nor do I anticipate that this position will occupy a substantial amount of my time while I am in it.

Accordingly, I will still be maintaining my independent consulting work outside of my Sierra Club work.
